Business Architect Senior

Experteer Overview In this role you will guide the translation of strategy into actionable architectural artifacts within USAA's Property & Casualty Portfolio Management Office. You will shape the business architecture, governance, and investment alignment across cross-functional teams to support strategic priorities. You'll translate complex strategies into blueprints, assess capabilities, and facilitate decision-making for portfolio planning. The role offers a chance to influence risk-aware, enterprise-wide design and collaborate with senior leaders in a mission-driven, member-focused organization.

• Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related experience
• Minimum 6 years' relevant business architecture experience including practice and maturity development
• Minimum 2 years' experience building architecture for large-scale strategic priorities
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver architecture services
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile/SAFe methodologies
• Ability to influence complex architecture discussions with diverse audiences
• Experience mapping value streams, capability maps, organizational graphs, and strategic blueprints
• Knowledge of BIZBOK, TOGAF and enterprise architecture frameworks
