Job Summary:
Responsible for producing identified components of project within given parameters set by others by performing the following duties. Primary responsibilities include supporting project design, technical development, construction documentation, and code research.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for producing documents in coordination with Project Manager, which includes adherence to JMA production guidelines, assisting at preliminary and design development phases, code review, limited client contact, tracking budgets and meeting schedules, and construction administration. Maintains detailed and organized project files including correspondence. Manages client expectations, coordinates team, and consultant communications. Produces work plans. Manages overall work adherence to production guidelines. Performs code compliance review. Performs quality control review (redlines). Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Licensed architect or equivalent with minimum three (3) years of experience. Experience in commercial, multi-family, and/or industrial markets a plus. Strong commitment to client satisfaction. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent graphic presentation skills. Flexibility to adapt to various project types and market sectors, and to manage multiple projects at different stages of development. Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word) Proficiency in design software (Adobe applications, AutoCAD, Enscape, Revit, SketchUp or similar modeling software is preferred)
