#TukwilaJobs; #SeniorArchitectjobs; Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Architect to support building assessment, renovation, and design projects with a strong emphasis on contract documentation, construction administration, and client communication. This role works closely with engineering teams on existing building projects and requires an experienced professional capable of managing documentation, coordinating with clients, and supporting projects from assessment through construction. Key Responsibilities- Perform building assessments and site evaluations.
- Develop technical reports and project proposals.
- Prepare and review construction documents and bid packages.
- Manage project documentation throughout the design and construction process.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, contractors, and clients.
- Review and administer AIA contract documents.
- Participate in client meetings and provide project status updates.
- Conduct field visits to verify existing conditions and monitor project progress.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
- Support multiple projects while maintaining quality and schedule expectations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Senior-level experience with commercial and residential building projects.
- Experience preparing bid packages and construction documentation.
- Strong understanding of AIA contract documents and construction administration.
- Experience performing building assessments and existing facility evaluations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam. Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Architect (RA) or actively pursuing architectural licensure.
- Active NCARB Record preferred.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Washington State building codes and local jurisdiction requirements.
- Experience with renovation and existing building projects.
