Full Job Description Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
An Architectural Job Captain prepares design and construction documents under the supervision of experienced staff. These assigned asks are completed with limited direction. An Architectural Job Captain prepares planning, building and health permit submittals. They review and respond to contractor RFI's and submittals. A Job Captain will, at times, delegate and guide Architectural Associates in their assigned work. Generally, has three or more years or experience working in an architectural office.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
Graduated with a degree in Architecture or a related program
EXPERIENCE 5
plus years of experience working under a licensed architect in a design or production role Experience coordinating with other consultants
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Intermediate level of competency in AutoCAD and Revit Microsoft Office proficiency Adobe Acrobat / Bluebeam proficiency Self-motivated with a high level of accountability Excellent written and spoken communication skills Attention to detail and solid understanding of construction means and methods Developing presentation and project management skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Some travel required for site visits and meetings
