Asphalt Paving Supervisor/Superintendent

Arkansas Asphalt Solutions is seeking an experienced Paving Foreman/Superintendent to lead and grow our paving division. This role is responsible for overseeing all paving and large-scale asphalt patching operations while developing crews, implementing systems, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. This position works directly with ownership and leadership and plays a critical role in helping the company scale. What You'll Be Responsible For Operations Leadership Oversee all paving and large asphalt patching projects. Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, trucking, and subcontractors. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards. Monitor production rates, profitability, quality control, and efficiency. Anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions. Team Development Recruit, train, mentor, and develop paving crews. Build future foremen and crew leaders. Establish performance expectations and accountability. Create a positive, energetic, and professional work environment. Lead by example through attitude, communication, and work ethic. Systems & Process Development Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Create training materials, checklists, production tracking systems, and operational tools. Build and maintain spreadsheets, vendor databases, equipment resources, and project planning tools. Help create the operational foundation necessary to scale the paving division. Vendor & Equipment Management Maintain relationships with asphalt plants, suppliers, subcontractors, trucking companies, and equipment vendors. Identify and develop new vendor relationships that strengthen company capabilities. Forecast equipment needs and assist leadership with procurement planning. Monitor equipment utilization and operational readiness. Sales & Estimating Support Work closely with the sales team to improve estimate accuracy and project planning. Review scopes of work and identify potential operational concerns before projects begin. Provide field insight that improves profitability and execution. Previous experience leading paving crews, foremen, or field operations. Strong understanding of asphalt paving, milling, patching, grading, rolling, and production management. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to train and develop personnel. Valid driver's license required. CDL and heavy equipment experience are highly preferred. Compensation Starting salary of $80,000 annually. Vehicle and/or expense stipend.
