Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Asphalt Luteman / Raker to join our civil infrastructure team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of asphalt paving projects by expertly raking, leveling, and spreading asphalt materials. Your work will directly contribute to the successful completion of roadway construction and highway maintenance projects, ensuring safe and durable surfaces. Duties Operate hand tools and power tools to assist in asphalt spreading, raking, and leveling tasks on roadway projects Maintain proper traffic control in work zones to ensure safety for workers and motorists Assist with the setup and breakdown of paving equipment and construction site materials Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of asphalt materials, tools, and equipment Support roadway construction projects by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections

Core Requirements Featured Experience:

1-2 years of asphalt raking on commercial or highway paving crews.

Skills:

Expertise in blending joints, identifying depth discrepancies, correcting segregation, and working closely with the screed and roller operators.

Physical Demands:
