Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Asphalt Paver with proven experience to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain paving equipment to ensure high-quality asphalt surfaces for roadways, parking lots, and other construction projects. Your expertise in asphalt paving, heavy equipment operation, and safety compliance will contribute to the successful completion of large-scale projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and passion for infrastructure development. Duties Operate asphalt paving machines, including screeds and other paving equipment, to lay asphalt according to project specifications. Asphalt Paving Raker Maintain and troubleshoot paving machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards Assist with the preparation of bituminous materials and manage their proper application during paving operations Coordinate with crew members to ensure smooth workflow. Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and construction machinery, performing basic maintenance and reporting issues promptly Follow safety regulations during all phases of paving work Requirements Proven experience operating paving equipment such as screeds, pavers, asphalt and lid mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with asphalt paving processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations Knowledge of safety regulations, safety protocol adherence, regulations governing construction sites Valid drivers license Dependability and Strong work ethic with experience working on construction projects involving heavy equipment operation. Must be able to work long hours outside. Salary is commensurate with experience
