Job Description

Job Summary:

The Asphalt Laborer assists the asphalt crew in the preparation, placement, spreading, and finishing of asphalt on roads, parking lots, driveways, and other paved surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and repair operations Rake, shovel, and spread hot asphalt to specified grade and depth Prepare and clean job sites, including traffic control setup Support equipment operators and compact asphalt Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies

Required Qualifications:

Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds Reliable attendance and teamwork

Work Environment:

Outdoor construction sites with exposure to heat, heavy equipment, and traffic
