This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate heavy machinery, work on diverse construction sites, and contribute to high-quality paving projects. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks to prepare and lay asphalt or concrete surfaces efficiently and safelyManage crews list for each job siteManage all aspects of paving (leeboy pavers)Coordinate with team members to execute paving operations according to project specifications and safety standardsConduct routine inspections of equipment like paving machines and trucks, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessaryMaintain accurate documentation of work progress, equipment usage, and safety checks throughout each shiftSupport site cleanup and prepare materials for subsequent phases of constructionRequirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as Leeboy paving machines, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and paving machineryFamiliarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to adhere strictly to OSHA standardsMechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues promptlyPrior experience working on paving or concrete projects is highly preferredAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standardsIf you're eager to bring your mechanical skills and construction expertise into a role that values safety, precision, and teamwork—apply now to become a key contributor in building lasting infrastructure!
