Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Asphalt Team Member or Laborer in Upton,Ma. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a family oriented business. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy hands-on work, and are eager to develop their skills in asphalt paving and construction operations. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as skid steer, paver, roller and grader to prepare and pave surfaces efficiently. Assist with asphalt paving tasks, including spreading, leveling, and compacting materials to ensure high-quality results. Support construction site activities by handling dump trucks, utility locating, and site cleanup to maintain safety and productivity. Collaborate with team members to set up work zones, manage materials, and ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout the project. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance when needed. Follow detailed instructions for each task, ensuring precision in operations such as grading and asphalt placement. Maintain clear communication with supervisor/foreman regarding project progress and any operational issues. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment including skid steer, paver, rollers and grader is a plus. Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and construction site procedures. Familiarity with machinery and other heavy equipment is highly desirable. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in a construction environment. Physical stamina for long hours of manual labor in outdoor conditions. Basic understanding of construction safety standards and protocols. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
