Responsibilities Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning, crack filling, and applying sealcoat using specialized equipment and hand tools Shoveling, Sealcoating, Brooming, Raking Asphalt Conduct traffic control for work zones to ensure safety for workers and motorists during project execution Perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials, spreading asphalt, and setting up safety barriers Assist with roadway construction projects by utilizing power tools, welding equipment, utility locating devices, and other construction machinery Follow all safety protocols in accordance with FMCSA regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment Support highway maintenance efforts through routine inspections, roadway repairs, and utility coordination Qualifications Prior experience in construction. Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and power tools is a strong plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely for extended periods outdoors Knowledge of traffic control procedures for work zones and roadway safety standards Strong work ethic with a focus on safety protocol adherence in outdoor construction environments Valid driver's license with experience operating commercial trucks or heavy equipment is desirable

Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
