Duties Operate asphalt pavers, screeds, and related paving equipment to lay asphalt and concrete surfaces with precision and efficiency Perform routine maintenance and inspections of paving machinery, including mechanical checks and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation Coordinate with crew members to prepare the site, including rebar installation, concrete forming, and site grading Manage material delivery, including bituminous materials, concrete mixers, and dump trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement Follow safety regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and project-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment Assist with concrete finishing, pumping, and screeding to achieve smooth surfaces that meet quality standards Operate loaders and excavators for site preparation, material handling, and debris removal as needed Requirements Proven experience operating paving equipment such as asphalt pavers, screeds, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks in construction settings Mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues Familiarity with construction machinery maintenance, concrete finishing, concrete pumping, rebar installation, and concrete forming processes Ability to read blueprints, project plans, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Knowledge of safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) rules and construction site safety protocols Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for operating commercial trucks and heavy equipment on public roads Strong work ethic with experience working on civil infrastructure projects involving paving, concrete work, or heavy construction sites Join us in building infrastructure that lasts!
