Job Description
Hourly wage is negotiable, especially after the 30 day probationary period. $26.00 to $32.00 is typical for starting pay. Phillips Site Work is looking for asphalt screed operators/ laborers who have experience operating a screed and who are willing to periodically rake, tac, shovel and do other tasks pertaining to the asphalt laboring field. Applicants must have currently or obtain after hiring an OSHA 10 hour certificate. (We reimburse any fees if hired and once the OSHA 10 hour is completed.) Phillips Site Work completes several prevailing wage jobs throughout the season, which are typically during the summer months. Phillips Site Work needs people who are dependable and who can show up on time. There are opportunities for raises and promotions for people who are dependable. Phillips Site Work does layoffs during the winter months as we do not have work when the weather conditions are not suitable for laying asphalt/concrete. Phillips Site Work does not do snow removal or any other work in the winter months.
