This is a hands-on, outdoor position where no two days are exactly alike. If you enjoy active work environments, operating equipment, learning new skills, and working with a team that supports one another, this could be a great fit for you. This is not an office-based role - we're looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing directly to plan operations and customer success. What You'll Do Assist with laboratory product testing Input quality specifications and batch data into reports Sample and monitor product quality Load and unload trucks and barges Perform minor maintenance on pumps, mixers, racks, and other plant equipment Participate in daily production, quality, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) meetings Utilize safety tools and follow company safety procedures Maintain clean and organized work areas Complete required training and certifications Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols Communicate effectively with team members, management, truck drivers, and customers What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow written instructions Willingness to learn computer systems and new skills Proficiency in Excel preferred, but not required Ability to lip up to 50 pounds with assistance Ability to climb tanks and structures, bend, and work in physically active environments Valid driver's license Ability to work scheduled hours, including Monday through Sunday as needed Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Build Your Career With Us At Ergon Asphalt Partners, we value employees who are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to making the workplace better every day.
