Essential Functions:

Perform material sampling of both asphalt hot mix and aggregates Report daily QC testing for asphalt plant production Logging and tracking samples from lab receipt to invoicing Conduct materials testing using SCDOT quality control guidelines Review plans to ensure compliance with testing and specifications Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment Maintaining compliance with QA/QC manual Ability to lift 50 pounds Calculations and data reduction of test results and other company attendance policy to ensure operate at normal proficiency level Follow all safety policies and PPE use

Required Skills and Experience:

Precision in work and attention to detail Potential to progress to Level 2 Maintain a clear and organized working area Hot Mix Level 1 or the ability to obtain Level 1 Understanding of the lab equipment Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work activities Communicate with plant personnel to ensure quality mix
