Moate Industries, Inc Reno NV Position Overview A.C. Moate Industries is seeking an experienced Asphalt Superintendent with a strong background in commercial paving and pavement maintenance operations. The ideal candidate is a self-directed field leader with a proven ability to manage crews, execute projects, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. You must bring demonstrated experience running asphalt operations, managing teams, and delivering successful projects . Job Responsibilities Operations & Field Execution Oversee and manage asphalt paving, grinding, sealcoating, and maintenance projects Lead field crews and ensure productivity, accountability, and performance Coordinate daily jobsite logistics, scheduling, and material flow Conduct site visits to evaluate scope and ensure readiness Maintain quality control throughout all phases of work Identify and resolve field issues efficiently Project Management Support Work closely with estimators and project managers to execute scope Review plans, specifications, and job requirements Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety standards and jobsite protocols Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Promote a culture of safety and accountability across crews Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in asphalt paving or heavy civil construction Prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in a leadership role Proven ability to manage crews, production, and jobsite operations Strong understanding of asphalt equipment and processes Ability to read plans, specifications, and project scopes Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
