Key ResponsibilitiesPerform measurements on diamond drill core including recovery, rock quality, and others.
Assist with logging process by performing activities including but not limited to loading/unloading boxes, washing core, organization, photographing core, etc.
Prepare core samples by splitting, cutting or whole-core bagging.
Maintain sample integrity by diligent application of sampling best-practices.
Operate equipment possibly including forklift, skid-steer, backhoe, bulldozer, etc.
General maintenance on/in logging facility.
Prepare QA/QC samples.
Liaise with assay lab as necessary.
Maintain inventory of logging suppliesOther duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience core lab or mining environment preferred. Driver's License with clean driving record requiredExcellent safety record and self-motivatedAble to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment Strong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skills (Outlook, Word) preferred. Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
