Job Description
Overview We are seeking energetic and dependable Class A or B Drivers to join our dynamic construction team! In this vital role, you will operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport materials, support paving projects, and ensure the smooth flow of operations on busy construction sites. Your expertise will help bring infrastructure projects to life, contributing to the development of resilient roads, bridges, and civil structures. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or B commercial trucks, adhering strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols Transport construction materials such as asphalt bituminous materials, and other supplies to various job sites efficiently and reliably Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment including any and all equipment needed to ensure precise application of materials Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and heavy machinery, identifying mechanical issues early and reporting them for repairs Support on-site activities of asphalt finishing, and working with heavy equipment during all projects Follow safety regulations diligently while working around construction machinery and on active job sites to prevent accidents or injuries Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely completion of paving tasks Also hauling of 10' or 20' or 40' commercial grade storage containers to commercial job sites or private residences Requirements Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as paving equipment, other heavy equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on trucks and paving equipment Familiarity with construction site safety regulations, OSHA standards, and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Working knowledge of asphalt paving processes Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and material estimates accurately Prior experience working on civil infrastructure projects involving heavy equipment operation and construction site activities Join us in building essential infrastructure while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values safety, skill development, and teamwork!
