Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic paving crew as a Paving Crew Member and be a vital part of transforming infrastructure projects! In this energetic role, you will work alongside experienced team members to execute asphalt paving, concrete work, and heavy equipment operation on civil infrastructure sites. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure the successful completion of paving projects that improve communities. This position offers hands-on experience with construction machinery, paving techniques, and safety protocols—all while contributing to essential public works. Duties Operate paving equipment such as screeds, asphalt pavers, and concrete pumps to lay durable surfaces efficiently. Assist with the preparation and finishing of concrete, including forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques. Maintain and perform basic repairs on construction machinery and paving equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support the mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete for various infrastructure projects while ensuring quality standards are met. Conduct routine equipment maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to execute paving tasks accurately, adhering to project specifications and timelines. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites in a civil infrastructure role is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment such as pavers, screeds, concrete mixers, and other paving machinery. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements, material quantities, and project specifications. Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and asphalt paving techniques is a plus Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and concrete pumping processes. Valid commercial truck driving license or experience with commercial vehicles is a plus.
