This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, applying your expertise in asphalt and related materials. You'll be instrumental in conducting inspections, collecting data, and maintaining high standards of quality control to deliver top-notch results. Duties Perform on-site asphalt testing and quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards Collect and analyze data related to asphalt mix properties, temperature, compaction, and other critical parameters Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate asphalt samples, supporting quality control processes Assist with construction site inspections, verifying proper application techniques and material handling Document findings meticulously through reports, logs, and digital records for project tracking and analysis Support concrete forming and masonry activities as needed to ensure seamless project execution Collaborate with contractors and project managers to address quality issues promptly and effectively Requirements Prior experience in construction, asphalt paving, or related fields is highly desirable Laboratory experience or familiarity with materials testing procedures is a strong plus Knowledge of quality control practices within construction projects Strong analysis skills for interpreting test results and data collection outcomes Construction site experience, including familiarity with safety protocols and inspection processes Basic understanding of concrete forming, masonry work, and construction inspection techniques Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail This position offers a vibrant work environment where your skills directly contribute to building durable infrastructure.
