Expected Hours:
40 hours per week + Overtime opportunities Kurguz Paving is a trusted, established asphalt and paving contractor serving commercial and residential clients throughout Columbus and Franklin County. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality asphalt paving, resurfacing, and site solutions. We are looking for an experienced, skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join our growing crew and help us lay down the best surfaces in Central Ohio. Operate the
Paver:
Safely and efficiently operate an asphalt paver to lay down smooth, even layers of hot mix asphalt (HMA) to grade and specification for parking lots, driveways, and roadways.
Depth & Slope Control:
Monitor and adjust depth and slope control devices to ensure proper drainage and surface thickness.
Machine Maintenance:
Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections, routine cleaning, and basic maintenance of the paver.
Crew Coordination:
Work closely with the Paving Foreman, screed operators, roller operators, and dump truck drivers to ensure a smooth, continuous paving flow.
Hands-On Support:
Assist the crew with shoveling, raking, or ground-level tasks when required to keep the job moving.
