Responsibilities Set up and operate asphalt paving equipment to ensure smooth, consistent, and properly aligned pavement laydown. Perform light mechanical adjustments and assist with minor repairs on assigned equipment as needed. Check all fluid levels at the start of each day, monitor gauges and equipment operation throughout the shift, and clean the paver at the end of the day. Track and record the amount of asphalt being laid during operations. Adhere to all safety practices and company procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned to support the paving crew and project goals. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience working with asphalt on paving crews and equipment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to work days, nights, or weekends as required by project schedules. Ability to work in extreme heat or cold weather conditions. Maintain a strong safety record, positive behavior, and reliable attendance. Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions. Capable of climbing on and off heavy equipment safely. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and boots. Traveling within Oklahoma and North Texas is required.
