Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pavement Marking - CDL specialist and play a vital role in ensuring safe, clear, and durable roadways. This energetic position involves operating heavy equipment and applying pavement markings that guide and protect drivers. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks to prepare surfaces for pavement marking. Apply pavement markings with precision using specialized tools and equipment to ensure visibility and durability. Assist with construction site tasks including utility locating, grading, paving, and material handling to support overall project progress. Maintain safety standards by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company policies during equipment operation and site work. Conduct routine inspections of equipment like dump trucks and Caterpillar machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently across multiple construction sites. Support other construction activities as needed to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record. Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required. Must be 21+ Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. Frequent overnight travel is required. Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures. Prior experience in pavement marking or related construction roles is a plus.
