Full Job Description NOTE :
This position requires reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel between the Tulsa & OKC locations, as well as various other surrounding locations. This position will report directly to the Department equipment manager. The Mobile Crushing Operator (also called a crushing plant laborer or support role in mobile/portable aggregate crushing operations) typically assists with setup, operation, maintenance, and cleanup of mobile crushing equipment. This includes feeding material into crushers, clearing jams, maintaining conveyors/screens, performing basic housekeeping, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting operators in processing rock, concrete, asphalt, or demolition waste on construction/mining/recycling sites. Operate mobile crushing machinery to process raw aggregates for asphalt production, ensuring optimal throughput and quality. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on crushing equipment, including conveyors, feeders, and screens, to prevent downtime. Safely maneuver heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery required for material handling and setup. Assist with the setup and dismantling of crushing units, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during fabrication or assembly tasks. Monitor material flow and adjust equipment settings to meet project specifications for size and quality. Collaborate with team members to coordinate material deliveries, storage, and inventory management within the warehouse or site yard. Maintain detailed records of daily operations, safety checks, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company standards. Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as mobile crushers, skid steer forklifts, or similar machinery in a construction or manufacturing environment. Knows how to use a grease gun and a shovel. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on crushing and conveyor systems. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on operational safety. Team player with a positive attitude.
