Over the past 68 years, Sessler Wrecking has grown into one of the largest turnkey Building, Bridge, & Industrial Demolition specialists in the country. We are seeking a candidate to support all divisions of Sessler Wrecking. This opportunity will be working in an exciting and high-growth environment focusing on the planning, management, and successful outcome of demolition projects. Sessler Wrecking is seeking to fill this position to support projects throughout our Southeast Division and across the Southern United States .

Responsibilities Include:

Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and skid steers to perform demolition tasks safely and efficiently. Experience with Demolition attachments (Shears, Processors, Grapples, Hammers) preferred. Execute precise equipment operations for building and bridge demolition, site clearing, and debris removal. Perform pre-operational equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe and functional condition. Collaborate with the project team to understand site plans, daily objectives, and safety protocols. Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to minimize risks during demolition activities. Maintain machinery by conducting basic maintenance, such as refueling, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues. Load and transport debris or materials for disposal or recycling using appropriate equipment. Assist in setting up and breaking down job sites, including barricades, signage, and equipment positioning. Adhere to project timelines while maintaining a high standard of work quality. Communicate effectively with supervisors, laborers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Desired Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age. Demolition experience preferred. Civil or related will be considered 2 years or equipment operation minimal Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Ability to work in all weather. Workers must be punctual and reliable. This position will be working at project sites and travel will be required.
