This is a large scale earthwork and mass excavation project . We are specifically looking for someone experienced managing dirt-moving operations, equipment fleets, production, haul cycles, and grade control. Temporary position with temp-to-hire opportunity available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Manage daily mass grading and earthwork operations Direct foremen, operators, laborers, and trucking Coordinate dozers, excavators, motor graders, ADTs, and support equipment Track daily production, quantities, labor, equipment hours, and deliveries Manage cut/fill operations, haul routes, material placement, and compaction Review plans, grades, GPS models, schedules, and upcoming work Coordinate equipment, trucking, manpower, and production goals Maintain daily reports and communicate project progress Maintain jobsite safety, quality, and organization Qualifications Previous superintendent experience on mass grading, mass excavation, or heavy earthwork projects Strong understanding of dirt production, haul operations, grading, compaction, and equipment utilization GPS/machine-control experience is strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple crews and large equipment operations Ability to read civil plans, grades, and earthwork quantities Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Reliable, accountable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Pay will be based on experience, ability, work ethic, and attitude.
