Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Construction Manager to oversee and manage our asphalt construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the construction industry and have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team. Responsibilities
  • Manage Asphalt construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage site operations, including supervising subcontractors, laborers, and construction equipment operators.
  • Conduct project planning, including developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are properly integrated.
  • Review and manage project contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Utilize software tools to manage construction estimating, project coordination, and project management.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to monitor progress against project plans.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact the project's progress or quality.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Asphalt construction project management.
  • Proven experience with construction estimating software.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction site operations and Asphalt construction management best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with construction contracts and subcontracts.
  • Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to walk, climb, and lift heavy objects on a construction site.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$58,558.00
  • $75,000.
00 per year People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
Experience:
Construction management: 3 years (Preferred) Asphalt paving operations : 5 years (Preferred)
