Paver Operator Requirements:

2 + Years of Paving or Construction Experience required At Least 1 Year of Screed Operation experience on Commercial, Roadway, or Highway Paving Projects required Asphalt Paving, Roadwork, or General Construction Experience required Experience Shoveling, Spreading, Leveling, and Finishing Hot Asphalt as part of a Paving or Construction Crew preferred

Asphalt Screed Operator Responsibilities:

This role operates and adjusts an asphalt screed to control asphalt thickness, grade, slope, and smoothness Less experienced candidates will support paving crews by preparing job sites, spreading and leveling asphalt, assisting equipment operators, and cleaning work areas Projects may include VDOT highways and municipal roads, with occasional commercial, neighborhood-road, and parking-lot work Fill tanks, hoppers, or machines with paving materials.
