Full Job Description Excavation Equipment Operator Position:
Full-Time Excavation Equipment Operator About the Company We are a growing excavation and site development company looking for a dependable, experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. We take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional job site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other construction equipment. Perform excavation for foundations, utilities, grading, trenching, and site preparation. Read and follow site plans, grades, and staking. Complete work accurately while maintaining production schedules. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment when needed. Work closely with project managers, foremen, and laborers to ensure projects stay on schedule. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Qualifications Previous experience operating excavation equipment is required. Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy machinery. Experience with utility installation, grading, and site development is preferred. Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus). Ability to read construction plans and grades is preferred. Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team. Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor when necessary. We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in producing quality work.
