Job Description
Asphalt Foreman — $40-$60 per Hour Main Executive is hiring an experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead paving crews and manage asphalt projects throughout Appleton, the Fox Valley, Northeast Wisconsin, and surrounding areas. We're hiring enthusiastic, trustworthy and forward-moving people. This is a full-time leadership position for someone who can plan daily production, coordinate crews, trucks, equipment, and materials, oversee grading and paving operations, communicate with customers and management, and deliver safe, profitable, high-quality projects. Pay is $40-$60 per hour , based on leadership, paving knowledge, production, quality, organization, communication, accountability, and demonstrated results. Responsibilities Lead, organize, and supervise asphalt paving crews Review project scope, plans, grades, drainage, and schedules Coordinate trucks, materials, equipment, and labor Direct excavation, grading, paving, raking, rolling, and compaction Monitor asphalt delivery, temperature, placement, and compaction Maintain production, quality, and schedule expectations Conduct jobsite safety meetings Enforce company safety policies and work procedures Communicate with customers, managers, and office staff Document production, delays, changes, and jobsite conditions Inspect completed pavement before leaving the jobsite Train, develop, and hold crew members accountable Maintain professional, clean, and organized jobsites Protect company equipment, tools, and materials Take ownership of project results from start to finish Qualifications Extensive asphalt-paving experience Proven foreman or crew-leadership experience Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, paving, raking, rolling, and compaction Ability to coordinate trucks, crews, equipment, materials, and schedules Ability to read plans, measurements, and project specifications Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead respectfully and hold employees accountable Ability to make decisions under pressure Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Early morning start times Overtime may be required Hours may vary based on weather, workload, and paving schedules Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain Ability to assist with paving work when crew support is needed Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and changing weather Ability to safely work around traffic, trucks, hot asphalt, and paving equipment Our Standards Our core values are: Character.
