Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Asphalt Laborer and become a vital part of maintenance projects! In this energetic role, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, assisting with asphalt paving, road repairs, and infrastructure improvements. Your hands-on skills and commitment to safety will help ensure the successful completion of civil infrastructure projects that keep communities moving forward. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your operation skills while contributing to essential public works. Responsibilities Assist with asphalt paving, grading, and roadway construction activities using power tools and manual handling techniques Support the setup of traffic control zones for safe work environments in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols at all times on construction sites Use hand tools and power tools effectively during various phases of asphalt paving and road construction projects Experience Prior construction site experience with a focus on construction projects preferred Experience working on civil infrastructure projects involving roadway construction or maintenance Strong understanding of safety protocols including proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awarenessJoin us in building safer roads and supporting vital infrastructure! Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
