$140,000 Annually (based on experience and qualifications)

The Asphalt Paving Plant Manager is responsible for organizing and estimating projects as well as performing all aspects of the job. The Paving Manager Asphalt Division is a full-time position that requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Paving General Manager, and has supervisory responsibility. Primary Responsibilities:
Estimate projects. Perform all aspects of the job and provide training to crew members. Carry out supervisory responsibilities following company policies and procedures. Maintain proper preventative maintenance of equipment. Teach, coach, and work with the team in a constructive manner. Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in the field or outside normal hours). Organize and schedule a team to maintain efficient productivity. Ensure safety training and procedures are strictly adhered to. Mobilize crew and equipment as needed. Conduct weekly safety and planning meetings with crew. Actively lead any recommended or mandatory training.
Position Requirements:
Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test. Strong knowledge in all aspects of seal coating and/or asphalt paving. Strong management and leadership skills. High level of reasoning abilities (i.e. Meeting deadlines, Prioritize Company and customer needs, serving as a leader to both peers and direct reports). Transportation to and from work and travel to various job locations as needed. Possess excellent communication skills and understand instructions in both written and verbal forms. Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work. A positive attitude ensures productive working relationships with co-workers and management. Continuous exposure to weather conditions, including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
