  • Ship Fitters/ Hourly Rate of $28 (BOE)
  • General Foreman (Paint Dept) / Hourly Rate Ranges from $34-$37 (BOE) Candidate Qualification Guide General Requirements (All Positions) Minimum 5 years of shipyard, marine construction, or heavy industrial experience Reliable transportation Ability to pass the applicable craft assessment Must successfully complete pre-employment screening Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical (if required) Must meet all customer and facility access requirements U.
S. Citizenship may be required depending on the customer/project Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Position Qualifications
  • Ship Superintendent Experience Experience coordinating multiple shipyard crafts and production teams Strong knowledge of ship repair operations Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Skills Read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and schedules Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Lead daily production meetings Resolve production issues and scheduling conflicts Communicate with Project Managers, Quality Control, inspectors, and production teams Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) Basic scheduling software knowledge (Primavera/P6 preferred) •Structural Fitter Experience Minimum 5 years fitting structural steel in a shipyard or marine environment Skills Read blueprints and structural drawings Measure, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel Use fitting tools and power tools safely Verify measurements and perform quality checks Work with welders and supervisors Troubleshoot alignment and fit-up issues Strong math and measuring skills •General Foreman - Paint Department Experience 7-10 years in marine coatings, industrial painting, or shipyard preservation 3-5 years supervising paint or blasting crews Skills Manage multiple Foremen and paint crews Oversee blasting, surface preparation, coating, and preservation work Schedule manpower and production activities Ensure OSHA, environmental, and customer compliance Coordinate equipment and materials Lead safety meetings and incident investigations Read production schedules and coating specifications Prepare production reports and documentation Core Skills (Preferred for All Positions) Shipyard or marine construction experience Leadership and communication skills Blueprint and drawing interpretation Problem-solving abilities Safety-first mindset Quality-focused Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Team-oriented Strong organizational skills Benefits Weekly Pay Long-Term Employment Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Supplemental Insurance Options Competitive Pay & Per Diem (Qualifying Projects)
