As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Siloam Springs office, you will be a Powerhouse Technician. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and preventive maintenance on high pressure steam boilers. It is a critical function to operations at our facility. Key responsibilities (to name a few): Operating, monitoring, and preventive maintenance on high pressure steam boilers. Hourly checks on boiler operation; testing of safeties on each shift; daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance; daily water treatment checks; bringing boilers on-line and off-line as needed; responding to alarms and troubleshooting issues with sense of urgency Monitoring and maintenance of other critical systems that support production, including but not limited to air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, water treatment, fire protection, etc.; performing quarterly PMs Responsible for 5S, the appearance of and upkeep of the Powerhouse and its equipment, to include: cleaning, mopping, painting, reinsulating, organizing, etc. Rebuilding steam valves for entire plant when not performing required boiler checks and maintenance or house-keeping duties Assisting with maintenance activities within the plant as needed Other duties as assignedABOUT YOU
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Active Arkansas high pressure boiler license
- 1+ years of experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
