Role Overview Our industrial maintenance department is looking for a talented and proactive Boiler Technician to support our operations. You will play a key part in the upkeep, functionality, and safety of our high-pressure steam and industrial boiler units. By ensuring these systems run at peak performance, you will directly support our facility's overall productivity and safety goals. We are looking for a detail-focused professional who thrives on solving complex mechanical challenges. Core Duties Oversee the daily function of industrial and high-pressure steam boilers to guarantee consistent and secure performance. Execute regular maintenance checks and diagnostic tasks on boilers and their related mechanical parts to prevent system failures. Analyze control diagrams, technical schematics, and blueprints to pinpoint and resolve mechanical faults. Perform hands-on repairs, such as welding, valve replacement, and gauge maintenance, to keep piping systems in top shape. Document all repair work, operational logs, and inspection findings to maintain accurate maintenance history. Work alongside building automation systems to improve energy usage and boiler output. Apply engineering knowledge and equipment manuals to resolve mechanical problems, helping to reduce operational downtime. Required Skills and Experience Demonstrated background in the maintenance of high-pressure steam boilers and industrial mechanical systems. Comprehensive understanding of HVAC/R, hydraulic systems, and modern mechanical diagnostic methods. Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints, control diagrams, and schematics. Expertise in industrial welding and the repair of mechanical equipment. Working knowledge of industrial equipment operations and building automation systems is a plus. Background in industrial field service environments is highly valued. Strong analytical abilities to proactively address equipment failures and engineering issues. Effective communication skills to ensure technical information is clearly shared with colleagues and stakeholders.
