Expertly diagnose and repair residential boiler and hydronic heating systems, including gas-fired, oil-fired, steam, and hot water boilers. Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
Maintenance:
Conduct thorough preventative maintenance, inspections, cleanings, and seasonal tune-ups to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient boiler operation.
Customer Consultation:
Communicate clearly and honestly with homeowners about system performance, repair needs, and safety concerns. Present repair options and recommend system upgrades or replacements when appropriate.
Installation:
Assist with or perform boiler installations, replacements, piping modifications, controls upgrades, and related hydronic system work as needed.
Sales Support:
Identify opportunities to recommend maintenance agreements, efficiency upgrades, system enhancements, and replacement solutions that improve comfort, reliability, and energy savings while building long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 3+ years of residential boiler service experience , including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydronic heating systems. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with expertise in boilers, circulators, zone controls, expansion tanks, gas valves, and related heating components. Solid communication and customer-facing skills —you know how to build trust and effectively explain technical issues to homeowners.
Required Certifications:
EPA Certification preferred (if handling refrigerants). Experience with boiler controls, combustion analysis, and manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus. A clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience servicing steam and hot water boiler systems . Familiarity with hydronic heating, zoning systems, and boiler controls . Knowledge of gas piping, combustion testing, and system efficiency optimization . Ability to perform boiler replacements and related installation work independently.
