Full Job Description Boiler Installer Job Description:
Come join the Thornton Plumbing & Heating family! We are a well established specialty contractor located in Midvale, seeking a Boiler Installer.
Responsibilities:
Replace residential boilers and install radiant heat systems (in-floor and snowmelt). Assemble, install, or repair pipes and fittings on boilers to plumbing codes using couplings, clamps, screws, etc. Be able to fill pipes and boiler systems with water, glycol, or air and obtain correct pressures. Be able to purge systems. Direct helpers of the installation process. Review designs to determine work details. Maintain a clean and tidy work truck.
Qualifications:
Take pride in your work with special attention to details and mechanically minded. Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift or move up to 50 pounds, work overhead and in cramped quarters. Possess good organizational, interpersonal, and initiative skills. Clean DMV record, prompt and dependable. Professional appearance and good communication skills. Ability to pass pre-employment, random drug screens and background check.
