Mason Skilled Trades Partners - 4.1 Hartford, CT Job Details Full-time $30 - $40 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Masonry restoration Pointing (masonry) OSHA 10 Senior level OSHA 10-Hour Construction Stone setting Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Mason for a full-time, permanent opportunity with an established contractor specializing in historic restoration and preservation projects throughout Connecticut and New England. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mason who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to work on unique historic and architecturally significant buildings. What You'll Be Doing Perform brick, block, and stone masonry work Repair and restore existing historic masonry Repoint brick and stone using appropriate techniques Remove and replace deteriorated masonry materials Match existing brick, stone, mortar, and finishes Perform masonry repairs on walls, foundations, chimneys, facades, and other structures Mix and apply mortar while maintaining proper joint profiles Work carefully around existing historic materials and architectural features Complete both interior and exterior masonry restoration What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional masonry experience preferred Strong experience with brick, block, stone, and mortar Experience with restoration, repointing, or historic masonry is highly preferred Ability to match existing masonry and produce clean, detailed work Knowledge of traditional masonry techniques is a plus Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew OSHA 10 preferred Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites as needed
Position Details Pay:
