Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry work according to specifications Install rebar and prepare concrete forms for pouring, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards Perform concrete finishing tasks, including smoothing, leveling, and sealing surfaces for both aesthetic appeal and durability Build and install hardscapes such as retaining walls, walkways, patios, and other exterior features using stone masonry and bricklaying techniques Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and install building materials with precision Follow safety protocols rigorously while building scaffolding, working at heights, or handling hazardous materials Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and ensure seamless integration of masonry components Conduct restoration and renovation work on existing structures, maintaining quality standards throughout the process Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on masonry or related trades such as carpentry or roofing Extensive knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing processes Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and mortar work Skilled in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for masonry projects Familiarity with building material installation including bricklaying, stone masonry, metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, and roofing Ability to operate hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers; power tools including saws and drills; heavy equipment like forklifts or cranes when necessary Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Experience working on renovation projects or restoration efforts is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier masonry craftsmanship in a fast-paced construction environment.
