Full-time / Project-Based, with potential for continued work Aureum Studio LLC is seeking an experienced Limestone / Natural Stone Installer for a high-end custom residential project in Naples, Florida. This is a substantial architectural stone installation project requiring someone with genuine experience installing natural limestone on luxury residential construction. We are looking for a professional who understands that high-end stonework requires accurate layout, clean workmanship, proper setting techniques, attention to architectural details, and consistent alignment throughout the project. This is not an entry-level labor position. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and as part of a professional installation crew and should understand how to read architectural elevations, dimensions, and installation details. Scope of Work The project includes installation of natural limestone throughout the exterior of a luxury residence, including: Exterior limestone wall cladding Architectural stone bands and frieze Water-table stone Window surrounds Window headers and sills Door surrounds and jamb cladding Garage door surrounds Columns and column caps Wall caps Terrace and balcony stone details Architectural overhang details Pool coping and borders Pool deck stone Front-entry decking Second-floor terrace and sundeck stone Cutting, fitting, leveling, aligning, anchoring and setting natural stone The project uses Ebla White limestone and Turkish Grey natural stone. Required Experience Applicants should have professional experience with: Natural limestone, marble, travertine or similar dimensional stone Exterior stone cladding Architectural stone installation Window and door surrounds Headers, jambs and sills Stone coping and wall caps Exterior paving and decking Mortar and thin-set installation systems Mechanical stone anchoring where required Accurate measuring and layout Cutting and fitting natural stone Maintaining level, plumb, consistent joints and clean finished work Reading architectural drawings and elevations The project installation specifications also involve stainless-steel pins, brackets, stone anchors, fasteners, grout, mud mortar and thin-set systems, so experience with these installation methods is highly desirable. Compensation Approximately $5,000 per month, depending on experience, qualifications and responsibilities. This is the first of potentially additional projects for the right person. Continued work may be available based on workmanship, reliability, productivity and future project availability.
