Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Brick Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry projects. Lay bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other materials with precision using hand tools and power tools. Mix mortar and concrete according to specifications and apply it effectively for binding materials. Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) and build concrete forms for structural support. Perform finishing work such as troweling, plastering, stucco application, and caulking to achieve smooth surfaces. Build masonry scaffolds safely in accordance with safety protocols to access elevated work areas. Operate heavy equipment as needed for lifting and positioning large materials or structures. Qualifications Proven experience in masonry work including bricklaying, stone masonry, and concrete finishing. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, tile laying, and roof repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with building material installation such as drywall, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, stucco, and caulking. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Construction site experience with a focus on renovation or restoration projects is preferred.
