Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bricklayer to join our construction team. Your expertise will contribute to building durable, aesthetically pleasing structures that meet project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements and specifications. Lay bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry units with precision using hand tools and power tools. Mix mortar accurately and apply it effectively for bonding masonry units securely. Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete forming and finishing to ensure structural integrity. Execute specialized tasks such as stucco application, and stone masonry restoration projects. Adhere strictly to safety protocols on-site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with construction site regulations. Requirements Proven experience in masonry work with a strong background in bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete masonry, and related construction activities. Proficiency with hand tools (trowels, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and construction equipment used in masonry tasks. Experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing, formwork setup, and restoration work. Familiarity with safety protocols specific to construction sites including scaffold building and working at heights.

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
