About Property Services Within the Environment and Community Services Group, the Property Services Branch is responsible for a vast array of diverse assets from iconic Heritage Listed assets such as the Empire Theatre and Toowoomba City Hall, through to libraries, aquatic centres, depots, administration and other key community buildings, work in parks on parks infrastructure, as well as contributing to the maintenance of key road infrastructure such as traffic lights and street lighting. Spanning almost 13,000km2, the team works diligently to guarantee essential community services are maintained in every corner of the region. About the position As a Bricklayer at Toowoomba Regional Council, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of bricklaying, paving, concreting, and general laboring activities to support the construction, maintenance and repair of Council facilities and assets across the Toowoomba Region. Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement. Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence . Current 'MR' Medium Rigid Class Driver's Licence, or a willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencement. More than 5 years' experience in the construction industry. Organisational and teamwork skills. Communication and customer service skills. A commitment to Council's values, including Respect. Please see the Position Description for more detailed information.
