As a Mason, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks, including building and restoring structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other building materials. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality construction projects, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from new builds to restoration and renovation efforts. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry work according to project specifications. Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete forming, and plastering techniques. Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and smooth surfaces. Build and dismantle masonry scaffolding safely to access work areas at various heights. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, shaping, and installing building materials. Apply knowledge of mortar work, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, roofing preparation, and tile laying for comprehensive project execution. Follow all safety protocols diligently while handling construction materials and operating equipment on-site. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, concrete masonry, rebar installation, and building material installation. Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications related to masonry and restoration projects. Demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, and schematics for construction tasks. Knowledge of construction site safety standards and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Ability to perform concrete finishing, stone masonry work, roofing preparation, caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry with precision. Experience with renovation or restoration projects is highly desirable. Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
