Masonry Apprentice Detroit Brick & Masonry is looking for motivated Masonry Apprentices to join our growing team. If you have experience in residential masonry restoration and are looking for a long-term career with opportunities to advance into a Lead Mason position, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities As a Masonry Apprentice, you will work directly under a Lead Mason while developing the skills necessary to eventually run your own job sites.

Your responsibilities include:

Following directions from the Lead Mason. Assisting laborers when additional help is needed. Learning and mastering residential masonry restoration techniques. Maintaining a safe, clean, and productive job site. Required Experience Applicants should be familiar with: Tuckpointing Cutting out and replacing miscellaneous brick Mixing mortar and concrete Assembling scaffolding Following instructions and working efficiently with a crew Tool Proficiency Candidates should be comfortable using: Gas saws Hammer drills Grinders Levels Basic hand tools Mortar and concrete mixers Scaffolding Ladders What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A strong work ethic and willingness to learn The ambition to become a Lead Mason and manage job sites The ability to follow directions Dependable attendance and punctuality A positive attitude Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills The ability to lead and assist laborers when needed Pay & Schedule $25.00-$30.00 per hour (based on experience) 40-50 hours per week Full-time position If you're ready to build a rewarding career in masonry restoration with opportunities for advancement, we'd love to hear from you.
