Merchandise Equipment & Supply is a family owned business serving schools, restaurants, corporations, and entertainment venues for over 60 years. Due to our growth we are in need of another member of our install team to assist in delivery, installation and set up of food service equipment in the Grand Rapids area.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Delivery and Installation of food service/restaurant equipment, fixtures and supplies Work independently and as a team to maintain a high level and quality and service to our customers Assembling and Installing fixtures in warehouse and job site settings

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Loads and unloads tools and building materials into work vehicles. Follows all local, state, and national building codes and regulations. Follows written and verbal instructions from the project manager. Uses hand tools, power tools, and construction tools to complete projects. Drives work vehicles to and from construction sites Adheres to all safety rules and regulations Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds. Works well independently and with a team Knows construction math skills, including how to convert quantities, take measurements, and solve basic equations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid MI Drivers License and ability to obtain a class C license High School Diploma or GED equivalent Previous mechanical experience or skill set.
