This is an in-person, 1099 independent-contractor opportunity in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Responsibilities Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for adults with substance use disorders and related mental health concerns. Complete clinical assessments, individualized treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Use trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approaches and coordinate care with the Turned Leaf Psychiatry team when appropriate. Maintain professional, ethical, and legal standards, including client confidentiality and all requirements of the clinician's Mississippi license. Help clients connect with appropriate recovery resources and therapeutic supports. Required Qualifications Active Mississippi professional license that legally permits the clinician to provide psychotherapy in Mississippi, such as LPC or LCSW, or another qualifying license. Current or recent hands-on experience treating clients with substance use disorders. Professional experience with or active involvement in recovery-oriented supports such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Celebrate Recovery, or another therapeutic or community recovery component. Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills. Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor. Preferred Qualifications Current certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and/or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Experience treating co-occurring substance use, trauma, mood, or anxiety disorders. Compensation Compensation is based on monthly collections: Therapist receives 60% of collections when monthly collections are below $10,000. Therapist receives 65% of collections when monthly collections are $10,000 or more. Therapist receives 70% of collections when monthly collections are $15,000 or more. After demonstrating sustained positive contributions to the practice, the therapist may be considered for profit sharing or partnership equity. This is not guaranteed and would be subject to a separate agreement.
