Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a General Mason Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring skilled masonry projects to life. In this vital role, you will support experienced masons by preparing materials, assisting with construction tasks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your hands-on contributions will be essential in delivering high-quality masonry work that meets project specifications and safety standards. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in various aspects of masonry and construction while working on diverse projects ranging from renovations to new builds. Duties Assist with the installation of formwork to prepare for concrete pours and masonry work Support bricklaying, stone masonry, and block laying activities following blueprints and technical drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as cutting, mixing, and placing concrete or mortar. Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprint specifications to support accurate building material installation Maintain a clean and organized worksite by removing debris, storing materials properly, and adhering to safety protocol. Requirements Prior construction experience with masonry or related trades such as carpentry is preferred but not necessary. Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings Knowledge of masonry techniques including bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete forming, mortar work, and tile laying Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely and efficiently Understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor for extended periods Willingness to learn new skills related to concrete finishing, rebar installation, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, schematics interpretation, and other masonry-related tasks Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to beautifying outdoor spaces while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork. $180.00 - $200.00 per day
