Field Mason Melum Masonry Full-Time | Local Residential Work | Year-Round Opportunity•

Position Overview :

Melum Masonry is looking for an experienced Field Mason to join our team. This is a skilled, hands-on position for someone with proven experience in residential masonry construction and restoration. We're looking for a mason who can work independently, produce quality work with minimal supervision, and contribute to a productive, professional crew. This is not an entry-level position. Our projects include a variety of residential masonry work, giving you the opportunity to work on everything from custom stone veneer to brick repair and structural block work.

• Responsibilities May Include:

• Installation of manufactured and natural stone veneer
• Brick and block laying
• Tuckpointing and masonry restoration
• Foundation and retaining wall construction and repair
• Stone fireplace surrounds and custom masonry features
• Reading plans and following layout established by the Project Lead
• Maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Keeping jobsites clean, organized, and safe
• Working efficiently with the crew to complete projects on schedule What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of hands-on masonry experience (preferred)
• Experience with stone veneer, brick, and block work
• Strong understanding of proper masonry techniques and installation methods
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• Pride in producing clean, high-quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license
