• Maintains a high level of professionalism Entry-level Carpenter Position (What to expect)
• Projects are in Anchorage. Most are new construction along with some remodeling.
• You will be working directly with company owners, lead carpenters, and subcontractors
• Carpentry tasks from foundation to finish work
• Assist lead carpenters by anticipating needs, preparing materials, maintaining tools and work areas, and keeping work moving efficiently.
• Keep jobsite safe, clean, and organized
• Pick up and deliver materials from supply stores
• Material staging
• Learn to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is some flexibility if needed. Qualifications
• Must be responsible, on time, and personable
• Some construction experience is preferred
• Have reliable transportation
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Must own basic hand tools
• Must have reliable phone for receiving instructions and project information
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer safely, or at least the willingness to learn
